Today I would like to share with you my review of the 3 Week Diet. I want to give you a good understanding of what it’s all about, my experience, and most of all…….does it actually work like they say it does!!
Since being a mother to my sons, I was slowly gaining more and more weight and got to the stage that I needed to do something about my excess weight.
I believe that my excess weight mainly came from being a ‘Stay at home’ mum and not doing as much in the way of daily working activity. My full-time job was in a warehouse that kept me active from the time I got there until the time I clocked off.
I also checked out some reviews on the 3-week diet and liked what I saw!
So with that being said, let’s get into the review and see what it can do for you and how it helped me!
What Is The 3 Week Diet System?
So you are probably thinking ‘What is the 3-week diet all about’? The 3 Week Diet is basically that, you can lose up to 23 pounds in 21 days with this fool-proof, science-based diet. That is more than a pound of body fat per day!! Most diets take months to see any results.
Brian Flatt is the creator of the 3-week diet system. Brian is a certified personal trainer, certified sports nutritionist, and weight trainer, he got fed up with seeing people constantly having a losing battle with their weight, hence why he created this brilliant diet that not only burns fat off fast but also makes people feel comfortable while within themselves.
I was amazed at how well everything was written and easy to understand.
The 3 Week Diet is broken into 4 phases:
Phase 1
This phase was the hardest for me (others may find it easier), this phase goes for 7 days.
In this phase, I found that I lost weight quickly. This gave me a boost of motivation to keep heading toward a rapid weight loss. Most people lose up to around 10 pounds during this time.
This part is about cleansing and helps your body to remove the built-up toxins and fat in your digestive system to give you a good kick start at this diet system.
This phase explains the food that you can consume in the first seven days.
Some of the foods included are: chicken, turkey, cabbage, carrots, eggs, tomatoes, spinach, plus many more…….not bad hey?
Phase 2
Phase 2 only goes for 1 day, this is all about fasting for 24 hours.
This day is actually really effective. You can lose more than 1 pound in just 24 hours.
It sounds harder than it really is. Just think that you have dinner the night before, so you are only missing out on breakfast and lunch the following day.
You can drink black coffee, water, and tea (herbal) during this time. This may settle any stomach rumbles you have got (if any).
Phase 3
This phase is days 9-11. You will have already lost a good amount of weight, but there is more to lose and it’s critical not to miss this stage as you are well onto your way to a successful finish line!!
This phase was my favorite as it allows you to eat a number of calories that are high in fat (around 80 percent).
I was eating bacon, eggs, salmon, avocado, steak, plus more!! It felt great and so did I!!
Phase 4
This phase goes from day 11 through to day 21.
In this phase, you will get your personalized calorie plan and Brian shows you how to calculate your BMR (Basil Metabolic Rate) to help you lose weight and reach your goal weight easily.
Your BMR will tell you how many calories you need to intake each day so that you can maintain your current weight. I was blown away by this method, as I still use it today.
You will be surprised at how quickly you will reach day 21 and it’s all over.

- They recommend some supplements, but I don’t think they are necessary.
- No physical copy as it is a direct download of all the content (which didn’t bother me, but may bother some people).
3 Week Diet Verdict
This is a simple weight loss plan and is easy to follow. Hey, if I can do it, anyone can!
It worked for me! I lost 19 pounds when I tried it out the first time, then gave it another try later on and lost another 15.5 pounds. That’s a total of 34.5 pounds and I couldn’t be happier!!
All of my friends have commented on my 3-week diet results and are blown away with how quickly it worked.
My skin and hair also feel so much better than before, plus my body is now toned!!
I’ve lost my love handles, belly fat, thighs, and thankfully…..fat off my butt!!

To be honest, I think the result is the same whether you use them or not, but that is up to you to decide if you want them or not.
